Ruby Fouzdar is a proud mother of 2, with a passion for fashion designing and cuisine. She has earned a B.S. in Chemistry, and Diploma in Business Management, Fashion Designing, and Travel & Tourism. Additionally, she was awarded the opportunity to work as a design consultant for a fashion project based in Dubai.
Ruby takes pride in being an involved mother, and has served as parent representative on the Site Council for the past 13 years. Additionally, she has been an active PTSA volunteer for both her children’s schools. She has even served a term as the President of the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program, and led a team of 3rd graders, including her own daughter, to victory in the Odyssey of the Mind state level competition. In the past, Ruby has trained for and completed 5 marathons. In her spare time, she loves reading, yoga, and Chinese brush painting.
She loves traveling and experiencing new food and culture. Her flavor buds were first stimulated during her years of stay in Europe, where she developed her panache for cooking and trying out new foods. Just this past summer she spent time in both Egypt and Dubai, immersing herself in the culture and experiencing new sights and tastes. She also completed a short fashion consulting stint while vacationing in New Zealand. Occasionally, she partakes in some online design consulting. She is extremely honored and excited to be judging the Student Recognition Project for the 4th year in a row!
